The Issue:
U4700 suddenly dies and creates a short. This causes the MacBook to no longer power on.
The Fix:
If you have soldering skills and the right microsoldering equipment, you can replace this component yourself. Due to the small size of the board and component, some skill and familiarity with board repair is required. You can also contact a company that offers board repair services.
